i disagree..hmm..in my opinion,soccer players are kinda more than entertainment than sports..doctors and nurses are busy contributing to this society everyday..so.....i wld disagree that soccer players should be earning more than doctors and nurses Very Happy

in european countries they value sports as they might be excelling and it is a good form of business. in such a small country like singapore, how many are great fans of singapore soccer(matching their standards with their european counterpart)?

its the demand theory. due to poor support from singapore, why should we pay someone who does not appeal to the masses when we can invest our money in somewhere more worth it?

Without footballers, Doctors would have less entertainment and some might be depressed and quit their job as a doctor. With more people quitting, There'll be no doctor someday. Without doctors, nurse would also have no mood to work and quit nursing. In conclusion, without footballers, there's no one left to save lives.

I agree with soccer players earning more.

firstly - if we dun pay them high enough, they oould just not play anytime they wan and there will be no talent to be spotted. take for example England Vs Estonia, Estonia sucks at soccer due to the fact that 3/4 of the team membes are full time workers else where, they just play soccer part time!

2ndly - if we pay them less, the world's soccer will be like our S-League. Hopeless, boring to watch, no future, bribe pple, no creativity, sucks and most importantly KELONG!
