basically my family was out and we encountered this slow moving mitsu grandis and we just patiently drove behind him and this idiotic suv behind us flashed his headlights at us and sounded the horn.

impatient, this guy drove up and overtook the grandis infront of us, close shave for that suv because a bus was approaching on the other lane. as u can see the driver braked because of the incoming bus.

i overtoook a bmw yday!

this bmw was road-hogging along tamp st 21.. i overtook it and was against traffic flow and quickly moved back into my lane.

For a single lane road the maximum speed is 50km/h. Any speed below it will be consider as within speed limit.

For highway i would agree that no matter what speed, as long the guy behind u is faster, u should give way and not road hog.

But in small roads in around estates, where the limit is like 50-60 - there is a reason why the limit is so - because there are more people around crossing roads etc.... so i find that if you are gonna drive at 90-100km/hr in this kind of small roads, dun blame people for road hogging cos it is really dangerous at that speed.

in this case i say both are at fault....
1.grandis driver is road hogging at a single lane road
2.santa Fe driver showed signs of road rage and overtook 2 cars at a go...nearly causing accident.

and for me single lane road sucks..most people tend to overtake more on them,and dangerous esp if there alot of traffic and buses plowing it

I dun think i said i knew what the grandis was travelling at rite? I am just saying, lets be safe here. Of cos if its 10km like u said or even 20km, then common sense will tell us its road hogging.... what i was saying is that some people already travelling at 60-70 at these kinds of road and behind comes some "skillful" racer at 80-90 or even 100km/hr......
