I understand the king is wearing the Royal Regalia.

But why does a PM need to wear a "uniform"?

Why we don't see our PM or MPs doing the same thing?

Maybe it is like to show the rank of the person in society, i suppose? The uniform may show that he has a high rank, but not as high as the sultan? Confused anyway...don't know if anyone notices, but Malaysian politicians always wear a badge bearing their name, even the PM...anyone knows Y?

being the PM automatically gives you a “rank and appointment” in the MAF. Just like the olden chinese dynasty where being the adviser to the King gives u control over some armies, being the PM gives u control of a Bn or Regiment. The king is automatically the Supreme Ruler of the MAF…

mayb because their Prime Ministers are appointed by their Yang di-Pertuan Agong (King).

the PM's uniform is probably a symbol of authority that shows tt his power was given by the King, who is the Supreme Commander of the Malaysian Armed Forces.

its states assemblymen uniform.......usually wore during parliament session, national day parade, national and states event, etc...
