udontknowme SG what do you think?? the colour red (or any other colour) as seen by females is different from the colour red as seen by males possible? yes? no? why?
spadeTwo SG possible, no one can verify. maybe transformers can verify. but.. oh well, how to remember a similar color ?
SpeedStar SG Ya, i am also interested to know too. Wonder if the gals will knock things that is red with their head, just like the bulls. I know guys dun
udontknowme SG dunno see as in, could the colour [insert specific colour here such as say...hot pink/lilac/lime green/etc] appear as different shades or something to the different sexes i nv say that they see colours differently ok! just a thought... what if they really see colours differently?? could it be possible that we see shapes and everything else differently too????? ok lar. i think im talking crap but hmm.... just a thought... eh but really...who the hell gave the colours all these different and 'fanciful' names??? BLOODY HELL! can't all the shades of purple just be called purple??? wth is with lilac, royal purple, this purple, that purple...*dies*
huiz SG maybe it started off with gals' clothes and cosmetics, to differentiate different shades of colours and for marketing purposes. eg which sounds better for colours of a red lipstick? red shade #01, red shade #02 or ruby red, brown red, raspberry red?

AndrewPKYap SG Red, the experience is a quale. How the quale can exists in a person's is considered The Hard Problem of Consciousness. If change all the red into green, nothing in the world physically changes! When a certain spectrum of light hits your retina, why do you see red? Why do you see color? Where did the color come from? If you think you know the answer, you are just confused for the best and foremost scientists in the field acknowledge that they do not not know.
