But thats mutually exclusive isn't it? U step more petrol, u get the power of a 2.0, but FC also of a 2.0. That explains the FC being on the high side U drive slow slow, like a 1.5, then the Vtec not engaged, of course FC also like 1.5 As for the hybrids, what do u mean? honda only, or all brands?
n0x SG uk get all the good stuff la.. and all the high tech mumbo jumbo.. theirs have push start button whereas we are still getting turning keys.. although i dun see the need for a push start button.. juz tt its way cooler and they have a mugen tuned version of it churning out 300bhp.. but i dun think it will pass LTA inspection.. anyways dun expect the uk version to come to sg..

tiggersgd SG u must rub it in huh? anyway, i'm referring to the honda brands only...i know toyota, mercs n many others are already toying wif it long enuff...bcos this is the civic thread...so let's just stick to the hondas for now, cool? as for the FC of 1.5 and power of a 2.0....i've heard this "talk" b4 the new civic in singapore was launched...still i dun buy that saying not esp wif the ever increasing petrol prices.

UK gets all the gd stuff?? maybe not...they're getting the so-call gd stuff is bcos of competition in that particular region...esp if u want to compete with their local giants like VW, Ford, Mercs, BMW, Audi (perhaps) and most of the conti brands. jap. imports like hondas have to perform even more (be it in terms of specs or looks) just to be on-par with the giants. then again...there're supporters of jap imports. so it may only means that the market forces determine what car (in terms of design, specs, emission standards n so on) gets to be launched.
tiggersgd SG i think in order for this to be parallel imported...u have to look at COE, OMV, road tax and most important (from LTA standpoint) emission standards, horses etc.

tiggersgd SG hey, who mentioned abt disliking contis in anyway?? dun read so much into it. i've driven contis myself...so i know what i m going after. imho, cars are pretty much a consumer market still... as for japs dictating the mkt...i really dun see it that way. they're the manufacturer n so have a say in what model/looks get to be launched...they certainly didn't consult the would-be consumers in the respective mkts regarding their car launches...be it jap or contis...feedback would be taken in but not all will be implemented. just put it simply, its the management (partly sales/biz dev/marketing) decision.
