Yep on my way home from work near Lavender a few years back, a
stray cat was knocked down by a car in the car park. She collapsed
at the side of the road underneath a parked van and was struggling
for a while.
One stray dog went over, nudged the cat with her nose. Afterwards
the cat died, the dog still stood beside the cat and sat down. A
second stray dog came along and did the same thing.
Everything happened very quickly and several bystanders stopped and
looked. Some residents at the neighborhood then told me the group
of strays hang out a lot together.
