We have all heard that Malaysia has started their NS recently.
As such, I was curious about how it was conducted.
To my surprise, it was a joke. As seen on TV, the training are
conducted in resorts with 6 meals thrown in. Furthermore the
traning sounds more like OBS which took three months. With the blue
uniform and the barber usng scissors to trim the hair 
, boy am I glad that I did mine in Singapore as it
looks more like a boy scouts camp in Malaysia.
No offence, do they really need it as the money could be better
used in helping their people
