Yup, i have never caught mud crabs before... maybe those are
found in mangroves, in areas with brackish water. The crabs that i
have caught are mainly the inedible ones, as well as flower
crabs.
I still have a flower crab in one of my fish tanks, about 5-6cm in
width. Been with me ever since i caught it in Sembawang beach about
4 months ago. It has moulted once, but lost a claw in the process.
Now it's a one claw bandit. 
Anyway what species of fish have you caught before?
