SPC service station complaint

This is a question regarding the SPC service station in my neighbourhood.

At this service station, there is a car-wash section which I believe SPC has rented to a third-party contractor.
The car-washers (presumably Indonesian, not too sure) have been very rowdy at night, screaming away very loudly, enough to be heard by the surrounding flats.

They are generally quiet during the day but go wild after 11 pm or so.
Imagine hearing very loud shouts and cries in midnight and beyond.

Is there any avenue we can voice the complaint to, or is there anything SPC can do? If not, we might have to bring the matter up to our MP as this issue is affecting quite a number of our night lives.

Before you go to Big Brother, contact SPC and complain to them.
Make a record of every action you do, incase you have to go to Big Brother later.

You need evidence that they are " screaming away very loudly " and persistently or else people might think that you are just another intolerable pain in the s. Unfortunately that is how it works here in Spg. No evidence, no talk.

So if you think that it is too much trouble to get the evidence (don't expect the police to waste their time to get the evidence over such small matters) just talk to them nicely and see if it stops, first.

Even if you do not think that it will work, it is the right procedure and the right thing to do, first. You have to hear their side. They might not realise that they are irritating anyone.

Complaint to yr MP lah, make them do some work leh, their MP portfolio already paid them $10k and do nothing but shake leg, attend free dinners and walk aroung.

very hard to get actual evidence leh.
they start shouting and singing (today 6 am sunday morning when all are sleeping, they sing some foreign song at super-loud levels, with some of them imitating female crooning voice etc.) at unholy hours, and how to video?
my HDB is at 8 storey and obviously, i cannot hang the video camcorder from my flat mah, somemore they're inside the shelter how to tape them?
unless got spy lah.

talk to them? these guys will probably beat me up.
anyway, from their behavior, most normal SGreans won't do that, unless they're tired of living or unless they got SG gangs / mafia / yakuza to back them.

frankly nikar2, i've already tried asking the staff to ask them shut up, i even went at the midst of sleeping just to shut them up. and i live jus the block behind SPC.

the staff also no help, cos they act like a bunch of hooligans. the most they'll shut up for the moment, the nxt day or wad they'll get back to those rowdy-shouting habits. i actually wanted to call NPP for the issue, but my parents think that it wont help much.

btw nikar2 u also live ard SPC? or we same blk?

dunno leh, SG police cannot make it lah.
last time got 1 big bee-hive at the tree near blk 229, my dad went to the yuhua community center's police branch, then the cops noted his details, after that,.......sigh.
i think they everyday sit behind the PC in air-con room surfing porn or MSN.

if the SPC and yuhua MP act-blur, then i'll try writing to the straits times Forum section. then everyone will know, assuming it gets posted.

u which block? 225A? 225? i'm at 228, right next to SPC.

also.......those car washers....u know whether they're foreigner (Indonesians) anot? or are they local malays?
can't really tell, but i don't think our SG malays will behave like that.

today they kpkb again, but luckily i went to deep "hibernation" before i gone work. only start to hear them when i woke up for work.

I do experience noisy neighbours in the void deck late in the night. When I can, I will go down and speak to them politely. Usually they will oblige to keep their volume down.

If the situation doesn't allow for me to speak to them, I will call the police and they will dispatch the patrol.
