Yeah..my flight was supposed to be 4.50pm on 24th Sept..then we still happily shopping nearby our hotel until my dad asked me: "Wind so strong, plane can land ma?"

So he called 1800-5424422 to check..luckily he called to check then we know flight cancelled..if not we would have went all the way to Meilan Airport and find out that it's cancelled.. Laughing

Tiger sucks..never inform customers that flight is cancelled..Budget airlines means really budget..save phone calls also.. Mad

We never go there before ma..So we thought follow tour group better..but in the end the tour sucks.. Laughing

The tour guide just wanted to bring us to shops to buy stuff so she can earn commission, as usual..

We paid for the extra night ourselves..RMB480 (about SGD96)..we stayed in a four-star hotel in Haikou called Haikou Hotel..really VERY good service I have to say..I would go back to the hotel if I'm going back Haiou again.. Mr. Green

do you guys think that.. those high profile murder case in japan. maybe due to stress.. and then they just murder someone with the most meticulously planned out way and get away with it. Forever disappearing. And have the feeling of having killed someone! Surprised

They thing closest to Hainanese chicken rice in Hainan was their Wen2 Chang1 Ji1..quite nice..and quite similar to Hainanese chicken in SG..

I think must see what is the reason the flight is cancelled..this kind due to weather conditions cancel one I think no compensation..those lets say because plane got problems then maybe got compensation.. Laughing

A place in Hainan Island famous for it's chicken..hence called wen chang ji..the tropical storm I experienced was heading straight for Wen Chang.. Laughing

So my dad joked and say now Hainan Island no more Wen Chang Ji to eat cause all chickens in Wen Chang sure get swept away by the storm..
