M551Sheridian SG any1 know wher to get flint n the steel piece for making sparks? wan buy n make campfire
M551Sheridian SG srry for the bump but wats the price of it roughly ? and yes flint is a material commonly used by survival experts to start fire donno why they still stick to it instead of lighters and waterproof matchsticks
ditzy SG I reckon they still sell it at some camping equipment shops, but slowly they disappeared coz there just better means of making fires these days.
polarsnake SG Yea, in other words if one continues using flint to make fire, he/she hasn't evolved at all.
ArdusKane SG Matches and lighter fuel run out. Flint is permanent. Of course, there is no use for flint outside of survival.
M551Sheridian SG wan to buy cos can use very long…. matches and lighters can run out n those use n throw lighters spoil easily outside eg when u fall, sit down and u can loose those easily
