jus want allen to know he got supporters here. i find his posts interesting.

as for the snake topic, allen wasnt in the wrong. i seriously dont see whats wrong with helping the TS post the picture up. its just like helping to linkie the URL.

It wasn't the helping that was deemed offensive by some. It was the comments that came with it, which revealed a rather contemptuous attitude. It's as if you are helping an old lady cross the road and yet at the same time haranguing her about her age and infirmity.

dakkon_blackblade SG

That's the attitude of a troll, and trolls should be banned.

Well, if according to the topic above, everyone was right that allen was in the right. But allen in his part could have been nice or simply refrain from posting flames that are unnecessary or exceed its purpose.

I hope he doesn't do this in real life or this habit could provoke of violence.

cApitaland SG

but if you see allen's 1st statement.
"you really don't know how to link picture at all"
i mean i cant sense any attitude from that statement. that was simply a fact because the TS really didnt link the picture at all. unless you bothered to quote TS, you wouldnt have seen the link. now why would you be randomly quoting people?

true allen's post afterwards were his standard fare which i believe were hurting. if personally i was on the receiving end i would have backed down. but TS countered with his right to link[which he wrongly did] and allen was kaypo which i found was just Rolling Eyes

he's a nice guy in RL. that's why i'm helping him Laughing

If you met me in real life, I'm a pretty nice guy too. Laughing

dakkon_blackblade SG

Perhaps I didn't make it clear enough. My point is that the statement "you really don't know how to link picture at all" can be construed as offensive in the sense that it sounds as if allen was looking down on the person.

To give another example, it's as if your teacher tries to help you with your work and yet grumbles at the same time about you not being able to even do such a simple thing.

dakkon_blackblade SG

I don't mind clones that are humorous and entertaining, but clones created out of malicious intent, to create ill-will and bad feelings in the forums should be strongly dealt with. After all, we are here to enjoy ourselves, and all forumnites have the right not to be made unhappy by another's malice and spite.
