for some ppl, it is easier to be good frens with the opposite
sex than the same sex. It just depends on your own view and
perspect on friendship.
But it is really fun to have a good friend who is in the opposite
sex since her/his thoughts, attitude, personality and view on
things are different than that of ure own sex
