ndmmxiaomayi SG Was looking at some programming stuffs about calculating leap years when someone said leap years are not just divisible by 4. Still got other rules.... But so far... all the years I've come across are divisible by 4 leh....
popikachu SG well quite easy to understand why... But i believe the calender will change again... cus the number of days per year wont stay the same forever right? some energy force may change the number of day? well... it all about what happen in the FUTURE... nobodys know ^^
eagle SG hmmm I did a C++ program to calculate leap years before.... but lost the algorithm and code le
popikachu SG "he currently used Gregorian calendar may need some modification a few thousand years ahead. A tropical year is approximately 365.242199 days, but it varies from year to year, because of influence by the other planets." just saw this on fifi link
ndmmxiaomayi SG Found another linky: http://www.geocities.com/rajeevgm/cur_cal.html I think I give up playing with calculating leap years...
LyonK SG I tell you now.. today 9th Sept 2007 will be Sunday. In four years time, 9th September 2011 will be a Thursday. In fifty years time, 9th September 2057 will be a Monday!
