Copying pics on mircosoft to jpg

I just copy a handwritten drawing from a friend on msn and paste it on microsoft word.
How do i make it a pic file?

maybe use photoshop?

"printscreen" the picture.
open "paint"
paste the picture on "paint"
then "save as" .jpg
