From Celebrity Big Brother to 007 glamour - Shilpa Shetty is set to
become a Bond girl.

The Bollywood beauty, who launched her career in the UK by
appearing on the notorious reality TV show earlier this year, is
apparently signing up to the next as-yet-untitled Bond film, dubbed
Bond 23, to be Daniel Craig's leading lady.
According to sources, it's Shilpa's huge fame in Bollywood that's
helping her win the part, as Bond producers think casting her will
make sure the movie does well in Asia.
"Shilpa is having secret talks with the top brass who are working
on the next movie. As far as they are concerned, she has it all -
she is beautiful, fiesty and a great actress," a movie source
revealed.
"But they also want someone who is a big star prior to the film,
which Shilpa is. She has a huge following in Bollywood as well as a
number of fans in the Western world - especially in Britain - so
she will be great for the box office sales."
The filming of Bond 23 is likely to begin early in 2008, once
production on Craig's second Bond movie - with the current working
title of Bond 22, is completed.
