dats y u have different tire profiles when u upsize ur rims. eg,
stock: 195/55 R 15. aftermarket
equivalent would be 205/45 R 16
for a 1 inch upgrade. the idea in reducing sidewall ratio is to
keep ur overall rolling radius the same, which also prevents error
to ur speedo readings.
