^tamago^ SG I think only left me to help you now. Try holding your menu button a bit longer and see what you can do. That 'when needed' GPRS setting does not cost you money, it actually just drains more battery maintaining an empty connection. 'Cos the phone needs to use GPRS it will connect in one way or another.
