In the early 1990s, Disney offered to build a theme park in the
Lentor area, beside the Lower Seletar Reservoir. The station was to
be between Khatib MRT Station and Yio Chu Kang MRT Station. SMRT
was willing to build a station for the proposed theme park but
unfortunately, talks between the Singapore government and the
corporation fell through and the idea was shelved.
