having been reading the forum for a while now, and only joined as a member today, cos me looking to change cars & the mark X is one of my choices.

any members here are current drivers? would like to know more about the car's performance, fuel consumption, interior, drivability, etc.

i dun drive one... but all i can tell is tt it uses the platform of gs300, and the engine of the is250... it really is bang for buck...

frm what i heard, interior wise is almost like the gs300 but some dislike the drivetrain tunnel... where underneath is the prop shaft... it is too high at the rear passenger seats...so the centre rear passenger will not be too comfortable

The Mark X might not be a car you'd consider if interior space is what you're looking for. Why not go for the Nissan Cefiro 230JM, which has a lovely V6 engine and a very spacious interior as well? Looks more handsome too, in my opinion. Cool

yea, the interior of a Mark X (in terms of passenger space) is pretty stingy for a car that is 2500cc. 2500cc right? correct me if i'm wrong. Smile besides that, pick up is pretty decent.

after taking a look at the car in the showroom yesterday, really agree with all the feedback...

interior is not spacious, the drivetrain tunnel is humongous man!! the controls around the drivers' seat does look a wee bit tacky. the only thing that i'm really keen on is the IS engine, love the power...

nissan ceifero?? err, no thanks... was driving a nissan before my current honda, really had nightmares with the FC... then again, FC is not gonna be low with the mark x, cos me got heavy foot one...

*sigh* now to look for other options before deciding...

pick up is quite good. can still see taillights of a Rex. Laughing
Petrol consumption is about 9km/l if i not wrong.
good drive. cheap price. but stupid road tax
