Need Tips for my Coming TP Test~!

Congratz! I agree Most Taxis are doing it nowadays~ but i've seen afew gd one b4 as well~ Although i've met some very nasty ones

Guys, I'm gg for my TP in April~ which means in a few more wks time i'll be taking my TP in BBDC.

I have this problem of overtaking when i'm doing my lane changing on the highway or those SL 70km/h road where after u do a U-turn u hav to keep to the left and then the intructor will ask for a right turn u hav hav to quickly change to the right lane.

My problem is... when there's too many cars... and i can't change over... that would means i'll hav chances of missing the path... = Immediate Failure...

Do u guys hav any tips for it?

Anyone can help pls? Or any other tips for passing TP the 1st try?

Hmm... i juz when to the website and realised that the passing rate for BBDC is only 38.5% for Class 3 Practical Driving Test (1st Timer)
From March 2005 to February 2006.

yup! u fail to make the u turn means IMMEDIATE FAILURE!
REMEMBER THAT!!!

its better to cuz other vehicles to aviod u than miss the turn. tats i think 8 or 10 pts only.

relax lar.. its only march!!! my test was on a thurs last sessions and realy panic on the monday.

Be aware lor, and signal early. There will be some good samaritans who will let you in the lane in a safe manner. Try not to cut vehicles off tto quickly, and if possible just accelerate fast once you are 70% into the lane.

signal early. see how many cars there are on the right lane. look forward. count the number of cars passing by ur side. finish already, look again. clear, check blindspot, change lane smoothly and accelerate. good luck!

book 2 slots on eve of TP test.

i had the same problem as you when i learn my driving last year,
and from wat i see u already know where ur weakness,
i share my experience with u, i know i can't do well when traffic is heavy also
so before i book my test i seek advice from my instructor,
which time slot is better and his answer is dun book the 1st and last slot,
so i choose the 1.45pm warm up and 2.45pm test slot,
and on my test day the road is clear and i can slowly do the changing of lane
to do U turn and move to extreme left and back to extreme right again to make a right turn with no problem at all. And i had passed Wink
I admit i m not a steady and confident driver so have to play with the time slot lor, heehee..
It is also good for u to book 1 or 2 practice on the same day (eg. test date on tuesday, book practice on tuesday) and same time slot as for u to familarize the traffic condition on that particular time.
BTW which slot u booked?

my 1st slot at bbdc 1 time pass.
just go there do ur best like normal lesson
if the instructor want pass u sure pass u any mistake he oso will close 1 eyes la. if dun want pass u hw gd also come out alot mistakes r

When traffic is heavy, u must overtake aggressively. If the car to your right doesn’t let u overtake, u depress your accelerator to the max… make a sharp change lane right in front of the other car…. then slow down suddenly…. wind down your window and stick out your middle finger at the car behind… After that, carry on with your U-turn.

My TP is on a Monday so i booked 3 days before hand, which is Wed, Thurs and Friday~

Mine is think is the one with the TP warm-up at 12.45 and TP at 1.55pm~
how's the time? hehe

Shouldn't have much problem,
like wat i said book practice ard that time to prepare urself wat type of traffic u likely will face.

firstly you cannot be gan cheong.If gan cheong den jialat liao.

Be calm, cool and collected. Stop at stop signs, always signal early if you want to change lane, and always check blind spot.

Erm…. if i’ve finished my station for example hmm… vertical parking… do i go straight out or ask whether i can continue 1st? Then if tester din say left or right… can i ask him? or wait until he realise? but if i do that, my time to react oso shorter… dangerous oso rite?

mostly i will reply ‘Ok’ when i finish one station to sign the tester that i have completed .. most they will say go out… turn left/right thing

Just check your blindspot. Thats all, and don't be kanchiong. Better to be safe then unsure. Its worht getting demerit points for insufficient acceleration, and hesitance than demerit points for not stopping at STOP line, changing lanes recklessly.

Now the average numbers of time to pass Tp is 2 to 5…....... that what i observe from all my friend taking tp and heard from my instructor…....
