Help Mitsubishi Lancer 1.6

Hello, i'm thinking of getting a lancer 1.6M (OPC). But don't know want to get it from C&C anot cos the SE offer me nothing! No keyless entry, central lock, leather seats, sport rims, spoiler... etc

Anyone bought a (OPC) lancer 1.6M from C&C and what freebies did your SE give you. Please i need advice alot thank you!

there are little people driving lancer OPC, can see not much reply. i think getting lancer OPC SE dont give anything cos its OPC.. And anyone know how much is the insurance with lancer 1.6 OPC? will it be more than $1.4k? cos i saw a guy driving lance ralso OPC his insurance is $1.4++ if i not wrong.

this is subjective right? meaning for insurance u got to see his age group and whether the person has prior NCB to his name.

as for freebie... realli depend on the amt & duration of the loan u r taking as well... Put it this way, tell the SE wat u wan & see whether they can offer similar... Do a comparison by visiting C&C-Fulco at Ubi as well as C&C at Leng Kee...

as mentioned... shd get them to throw in the leather seat, sport rim, rev sensor, keyless entry which is packaged at an additional $1.6K for basic lancer, if not you shd not be topping up for more than $600... some other small stuff like door visor, sport pedel etc... if taking longer loan, try out rikecool, tuff coat(Spelling correct?) etc... infact more freebie, less cost discount or e otherway...

Hmm.. meaning OPC they wont throw so much freebies in.. u mean if i pay an addition $1.6k i should get leather seat, sport rim, rev sensor, keyless entry (btw is this the alarm system?) But these 4 things worth $1.6k???

And can anyone tell me your insurance for lancer 1.6 roughly about how much is it more than $2k or..? thanks alot

That was one of the main reasons put me off from buying lancer.

Thought most of these are standard items of a basic jap car?

hmm.. do i need to say who reccomended maybe i get some stuff. i dont know any SE in C&C i just call the number at mitsubishi web site a guy called he offer me the price is exactly the same as the mitsubishi website price but u just -$17000 for the OPC. the only thing he give me as a SPECIAL package is add in S$ 1.3k for leather seats, alarm, sports rim and reverse sensor..

I ask him if i pay full amount with no loan he said the 'special' package can't give me. wat should i do? anyone can help

Btw he said i need a min loan of $20k for at least 1 yr that means, with 3.5% that is $700 and add the package which is $1.3 that is $2k. With $2K can i get the 4 things outside??

Do agree that most of the thing that are in std jap car are not in lancer or rather as opt item...

OPC SE normally throw in less freebie... During my shopping for my lancer in Feb, both Leng Kee and Ubi SE quoted me ard $600 for those addiional item aft some negoitation... So will realli suggest u made a trip down to discuss rather than over the phone... Anyway COE went down, not sure abt Lancer pricing...

Just for comparison, bought mine (not OPC) with 3 yrs loan of $20K (3%int), got my SE to throw in leather seat, rev sensor, keyless entry, door visor, 3M floor mat & sport pedal... As for whether those four item justify $1.6K, yes & no, rev sensor & keyless entry are cheap. Leather seat & rim shd be ard there, however, u do outside u can choose wat u wan... Further the rim in the $1.6K not ralliart rim, just mit alloy rim. U decide for urself...

Insurance wise, from C&C, covered by AIG is ard that premium.

thanks for all the info. last neg with the SE i picked lancer 1.6 mnual basic that is selling at $46488 i choose OPC -$17000. Making a min loan if $20k pay within 1 year period at 3.5%. SE give leather seats, sport rims 15 inch, rev sensor, alarm (he said its normal keyless entry only connected the wire to honk). Is this a not bad deal for me?? need advice thanks!

Just a 2 cents view... try asking for some more small things, like sport pedal, door visor, mats (if not orginal, take the imit one also good) Hee...

Just remember to put all in writing...

You are right to say car alarm are now tie to the honk for Mit... Cut cost? Sigz... u goin to wake up the neighbourhood if midngt press wrongly... mi veri careful, e sound like pressin the honk for a while...

those things u mention i did ask from my SE, he said those things also need hundred over dollars. and he said he already earn very less due to the price of the car, so i never ask much for him nymore. the car mat is not included?? even my dad's nissan van also comes with 2 big black rubber mat..

And lastly the alarm thing can i ask my SE to tell the technician to reduce the honk sound like for only honk for 3 secs then goes off? or i will just disconnect the wire as not to cos so much troubles for others.
