Bonuses paid out in Banks a lot? For accounts role.

I have been thinking of changing to a Banking industry. However I wonder what is the bonus payout like , for accounts staff? Any idea.

E.g. 13th Month + Variable + Performance = in total usually how many %

Depends la....my sister got 8 months bonus in semicon industry.....

So not just banking.....

Usually private companies who are doing well will give out lotsa bonus....if they are having good profits la....but during recession or difficult years then maybe less bonus or no bonus. Ya I think so.

Wat!? U mean aunties infest the Finance team in Bank. I wanna get out of my Company coz all aunties too....this is saddening....more years of "diaper" talk torture. Evil or Very Mad

with banks you get 6 months bonuses, with oil coms you get stock options .... Twisted Evil

not very sure about the payout, but know that you will earn well in the banking industry. however, prepare to work for long long hours.....

Markets are crashing all over the world... and if u r really thinking of changing to the banking industry, read the news first.

I would not be thinking of changing to the banking industry if i am in a very stable and secured job now (aka civil servant). I foresee a lot of bankers will be retrenched in the coming months.

O, btw, good luck to those dating bankers... their nice cars and big houses would be gone soon...

Actually Civil servant job = dead end. No other pte Co will take you in , if stay in CS too long Sad Coz usually diff skill set .

Also there is pressure by Govt to various ministries to reduce Head count / subcontract out non critical areas of work
