sheri SG Does anyone work in a Japanese Company? If so, are there any common work ethics that they adhere by? For one, there is the punctuality. Any others?
In_Between_Days SG From wat i heard jap coys tend 2 squeeze the life outta thier workers... depending on wat kinda jop scope...be prepared for lots of OTs and working like mad... Would prefer European or American MNCs...
BabyRex SG One thing is for sure, you will never reach the upper echelon of the company. Those are reserved for their own people.
TehJarVu SG my first job, i worked for a japanese company. they didn't pay me well and i didn't like the japanese but now i think back my japanese boss was the best boss i ever had compared to all the other bosses that i had in my subsequent jobs... the worst boss was a euracian...
ispyyy SG When it is working time, many many working entics... But when it is playing time, even more playing tactics...
qlqq9 SG worked for a short while before so not into any work ethics. The thing I remembered most is the japanese were so happy when we pronounced their names the japanese way. My ex jap boss was a very nice man to work with.
ditzy SG 5BX in the morning. Even worse if the japanese company you work in is ISO certified. Prepare for punch card system.
ditzy SG ahem ahem, I beg to differ. Why not greet them by their name, followed by "ippen shinde miru"?
CoolMyth SG My mum, who used to work in a factory, say every morning before work starts, they need to face the direction towards Japan and then sing their national anthem. Got such thing now?
