Should I mention my previous employment history?

Hi all

I took up contract teaching under MOE 2 years back, teaching academic subjects but it lasted for only 3 mths n I`m keen in taking it up again next yr but this time teaching music cos its my forte.

When applying, should I mention my previous stint even though its only 3 mths or I just dont say anything abt it at all? If I do, they will surely dig here,dig there on why I left. If I dont, MOE will sooner or later find out n they will know that I lied to them.

Honesty is the best policy? I dont want to jeopardize my chance of becoming a music teacher.

Man.. just list down. even if u work at a rubbish collector for 2 months. This kind of CV thing must be honest.

Because i always read into context of thier employment history , then backed by interview n when i say i call u back , means checking on your liaw n i will definately call the referrals. Or check what company u work before see i got contacts n call them ask about you.

Because even if i dig out n find out reasons u left from the other side , when i call u back to interview again i will ask u why u left n hear from your side lo.

Thats me la.. i dont know if others do all these when looking at CVs.

yea… right. in this case, likely they will find out one. Yes you list down it would be disadvantages… but if they found out… confirm die one,.

Yup, must be careful when dealing with govt sector cos they can dig here, dig there...I know what I want in life n I cant afford to let it slip thru my fingers forever..tat is why I`m very much concerned..

thats no way u can lie to MOE. even if u dont state, they will know. I guess they have a database of all applicants sorted by NRIC.
