Lets caculate the total amount of $ we will saved if we go JB to
pump petrol
1.
Lets RM 1.92/Litre = $0.864/Litre
2.
Distance to JB: 20km
Distance back from JB: 20km
Total distance: 40km (Travel Distance wasted)
Amount pay to travel: (40km/10km) * $0.864 = $3.46
3.
Per entry
Singapore: $1.20
Malaysia: RM20 = $9
Total amount pay for entry: $1.20 + $9 = $10.2
4.
Enter JB with ur 3/4 tank, the most you pump 20 Litre
Amount pay for petrol: 20 litre * RM1.92 = RM38.4 = $17.28
5.
Total amount you spend on 20 Litre of petrol in
JB
Amount pay to travel + Total amount pay for entry + Amount pay for
petrol =
$3.46 + $10.2 + $17.28 = $30.94
***************************************************************************
Mobile 95 after discount: $1.56/litre
Amount pay for 20 Litre of petrol in
S'pore: 20 litre * $1.56 =
$31.20
***************************************************************************
Total AMOUNT SAVED:
Amount pump in Singapore - Amount pump in JB = $31.20 - $30.94
=

For those who think that is still worth it to pump petrol in JB,
you might go
ahead [sleeping]
Use ur brain to THINK and recaculate
again for those who buy cheap COE which
causes so many problems to everyone of us.
e.g.
Increase in interest rate, increase in ERP rate, increase of petrol
etc...[/b]
ehh.. wat has cheap COE got to do with your problems? I got a
10K COE.. but I did not cause interest, ERP rates and fuel prices
to rise. Since you can calculate so well, why dun you go read
economic news to understand why interest rates and fuel prices are
going up? Btw, if the gov thinks they losing too much on COE
"income" they simply need to reduce number of available COEs and
prices will go back up again (thats what they have done).. its a
simple demand and supply theory. I dun see any direct relationship
between cheap COEs and raising ERP rates.
In short, you made a decision buying coe at a price.. stop blaming
innocent ppl for your misfortune. We drove old rusty cars and
waited for COE prices to drop while you rush to your shiny new
cars. In fact, you need to thank us for not rushing in with you and
push COE prices even higher! So like what you've mentioned above..
"Use ur brain to THINK" b4 making comments like dat.
