Perling is about 8km away from JB checkpoint, just northwest of
Skudai. The KTM railway line runs across it towards Senai.
Jusco Tebrau City is on the other side of JB though, just as far
away from JB checkpoint. 
And Kluang is 100km north on the NSE. Should take you roughly
45mins to an hour by car. Exit at Ayer Hitam at 244km mark, and get
on Federal Route 50.
