casshern SG t3r, insurance companies do not pay out cars damaged by "Act of God" meaning natural disasters. i think for singapore a flood can be considered natural diaster.
casshern SG my house the car park also abit slanted. so i always park at the higher end. but its more convient for me anyway cos my blk is just at the higher end added: if i were on the higher end i wouldnt want to drive my car out till the rain stops
ShutterBug SG You can claim from the Big Man Upstairs.. he's responsible for the rain and all those other worldwide catastrophies like the Tsunami, and Hurricanes in USA, earthquakes all over the world....
Altis84 SG just curious judging from water depth in the pic. What damages will the car have ah? Can someone tell me? Assume the flood subsides after a few hrs lah... what happen this depth of water continues for 1 or 2 days? Den car what happen? Actually it doesnt look too deep to me
AE86tofu SG well the 318I in my workshop which drove into a flood claimed it frm insurance...fella thought his car was a X5.....
casshern SG ok, i read TNP tat was overdued some days back it seems that insurance companies will pay for such damage, but i only read about the total loss case, and the pay out is quite minimal. can some one clarify
casshern SG the water is at least knee deep, go to ur car and see how much water will get into ur car when its knee deep. damage? water will get into ur car cos ur car is not water proof. and its all muddy and smelly. after drying u imagine how much it stinks when u open the door. some cars may suffer engine damage resulting in total loss (i read in the TNP one benz c series got total loss due to the flood)
casshern SG maybe he din know there was a flood infront and drove into it. sometimes are inevitable u know...
AE86tofu SG result is tt yr conrod will be bent...pstion bearings will be gone also....tts the least tt the flood can do if yr car is running....
