RaTtY8l SG haha awt if all the plants in this world revolt 1 day n stop photosynthesis? commit suicide
MyPillowTalks SG maybe they can think, but they can’t feel physically…maybe a veg human can think, but they cant feel physically, so maybe a veg can feel mentally but not physically
zannstar SG a study carried out some time ago shed some light on the whole plants-with-feelings issue... Tests were carried out on a group of yew trees. They introduced a type of parasite on tree 1 and watched as they slowly killed the tree. Then the same parasites were introduced to the other trees which were planted alongside tree 1. The other trees however managed to produce a sort of anti-parasite pheremone thingy (like bug repellent)and were immune to the parasites. This shows that tree 1 might have scent out a sort of distress signal 2 the others to warn of the threat and 'take the necessary precautions.' sounds weird and funny rite? i think plants do have feelings, like any other living thing does...
unclebutcher SG ya i agree . simple example: the forget me not....when u touch them they close up....feeling lor
Normal^Guy SG Ever heard tt if u play nice songs for your plant in a daily basics, it will bloom pretty and lively flower.. anyone try b4?
browniebaobao SG Mimosa - once u touch it, it will close up the leaves. another plant knows how to let out a fragrance to attract insects that will end up as its preys.
jondizzle foshizzle SG No plants cant think because they have no brains. And they cant sense pain because they have no nerves and even if they did they don't have a brain to tell them it's pain they're feeling. *sigh*...what happened to all the intelligent forumites?
lionsault SG I dont' think so but I do know that if we do not stop destroying them, we will lose our beauty world in the coming ages.
