Rcv a number plate from LTA,but dont like the number

how argh?

i heard can give back LTA and bid for another number...but,hows the procedure like?and for what cost?

if i gibe back LTA the number (A),then,i am left with what number?do i bid the number(B) i want first and then gibe back the number(A) to LTA or the other way round?

if i dont bid for another number(B) this time round(ater i rcv the number which i dont want?) can i bid for another number(B),say 3years later,if i really dont like this number(A)?

(A) denotes the present number which i dont like from LTA
(B) denotes the future number which i can bid

u can hold on to ur current # n start to bid for the number u like. u may like to check with the LTA website/onemotoring site to see if some1 has taken ur 'ideal' #.

change now or later also the same procedure. only thing is the $$ involved in bidding a 'special' #. u may like to ask ur SA to advice u on this as well. he/she can actually help u to bid for it.

I believe your car is already registered.

To change to a number you like; you can either bid for New plate or buy from the open market; old series number plate.

If your plate is bidded, you need to pay LTA $300 to put this plate on your existing car.

If your plate is bought from the open market (old series plate), you need to pay LTA $1300 to put this plate on your existing car.
