Why so little Aveo5 on road ? And New Aveo Sedan

skthk SG

While Getz or even Pica is selling like hot cakes, why so little Aveo5 on road ?

If the Sedan is just $1K more than the hatchback which woud u buy ?

ditzy SG

I'll still get the getz. Laughing

Kuali Baba SG

Because we realise that it’s a Thai-made Daewoo with an American badge?

Theatre Of Dreams SG

perhaps chevrolet's marketing here is not solid yet.

but i quite favour this.

Ya saw this car at the showroom, the custom cd/radio look cool ?
If don't have the sedan maybe will take aveo5 ? now have to headache

skthk SG

But why ? care to explain a bit ?
very curious

skthk SG

That's very confusing, so is Korean car ?

Kuali Baba SG

It's a Daewoo Kalos. Laughing

skthk SG

Catch no ball, sorry.
So its u guys all mean Aveo5 = No good ? Getz better ?

How about the new Aveo Sedan ?

Kuali Baba SG

Not as refined as the Hyundais now, and Singaporeans are still skeptical - it's been around for only 2 years.

skthk SG

Ya lor why 2 years & Aveo5 hardly see on road. While Getz almost like Taxi.
TO my big surprise Aveo5 has ABS, 1 airbag ? Which only the 1.6 Getz has ?
1.1/1.3/1.4 all no.
Meaning Specs Aveo5 wins "chow chow" right ?

Yes, vios made in tom yam but sell like hot cakes. Why? Becos it's under the toyota brand with a VVTi badge. Size compact and deliver good FC.

I'm not driving a vios.

skthk SG

Actually this VVTi is very good ? then noone can contest ?

ditzy SG

Of course its good lar! Toyota leh, bo bei zhao! Laughing

skthk SG

What if the New Aveo Sedan is made in Korea ? Wil be better right ?

It's good for vios only.

Other conti cars long ago have VVTi already. It just that they didn't bother to "market" it like what toyota is doing.

You think VVTi originated from toyota? Some think so since toyota badged it on all of their cars. It's a "stolen technology" or "copycat technology" from conti cars. Don't think I'll be proud of it if I'm driving a toyota?
