U-Turn and Parking

Hello there everyone,

Just a query, is it OK to cross your hands just once while making a U-Turn and parking? The book says we should not cross your hands but didnt mention anything about any exceptions. I have read about the hand-over-hand method while making u-turn so i just ask here to get some feedback perhaps. Thank You

You are bound to cross but don't double cross it la. Lol.

Or you can pick some skill sfrom Jay chouster and try one hand turning. I fancy doing that when parking.

aiyah.. once you are out of L plate, you can do whatever you wan liao... i dun see any TP stop me when i dun actually stop at stop line..heheh Mr. Green

with the stupid new silcon sensors under the road before the stop line at some junctions.. realli irritating when taxis or other cars dont wan to move forward to the stop line because no shade there but furtherback got shade.. then they dont cover the sensor they don’t know then the light never turns green cos the light thinks there’s no car. horn also dont want move forward. .

are you preparing for tp? or got your license liao?
tp, just follow whatever your instructor taught you.
got license liao then just heck care lah. do whatever way you feel comfortable.

for me i more comfortable with turning with 1 hand.

Mi always one handed too..so no big deal..

I use whichever method that gets me the turning angle I want...1 hand..both hands all can.depends on mood. Laughing Mr. Green Embarassed

it depends on the road too.. if the road is narrow enough you would definitely be forced to do a full-lock and for people who are new or not used to using one hand, try doing it without crossing your hands =)
