Will our education system still succeed without stress?

I think that many students here are now so stressed up because of the education system in Singapore. I feel that our education system will still succeed even without stress. Success is only achieved by our own sheer will.
What are your views?

Yes an education system would probably succeed without stress ,however but not very well and that depends on your definition of succeeding .If success means to climb to an ordinary status in life yes then stress is perphaps not much of a factor, if you are talking about competiting with foriegn and strong rivals, may it be work ,sports , academic achievements a little stress would be inevitable an as ‘they’ say a little comprtion always sparks improvemebnt
