the section is not 100% correct..
while type AB+ is universal receipient, this only applies to
emergencies, because the body will not reject type O or other blood
types. however, this cant go for long term. the AB recipient will
die.
similarly, A+ can receive A- blood but not for a long time. the
body have to produce the "+" antigen itself or receive A+
blood.
