Dawn Yeo's face shape

Nikar2 SG

just curious.....if you all go to www.dawnyeo.com and see the many pictures of her, you'll see that she has a long angular sharp face with slightly large and high cheekbones.

this kind of face shape call what? is it "gua1 zhi2 lian3"?
but i thought gua zhi lian is a supposed to be round and only sharp at the chin?

pls advise, since i'm learning basic drawing of human anatomy now.
serious, pls.

Like what the face is called, the face takes on the shape of a 'gua zi' - generally long oval shape, nice cheekbones and being sharp at the chin.

A few celebrities who has a 'gua zi lian' would be fiona xie and gigi lai.

but gigi lai and fiona xie's shape is not as great looking as dawn's leh.
i think also got one shape called "Ye2 Liu3 Lian3" (coconut face, whereby the top of the head is a bit pointy, the middle section of the face is wide and the lower face is sharp).
