Of course go overseas- eg Cambridge, Oxford, MIT, even our Ministers sons don't study here. Get scholarship but if unable to, then study locally cos cheaper.

If only the world was as perfect as you wished. Cohort numbers play a large part in determining annual enrolment policy.

This is a fact.

Darkness_hacker99 SG

no shame.. Laughing

club18 SG

comparison?

LazerLordz SG

It's a fair comparison for changes in enrolment and other standards over the years.

Deino SG

this auntie is too much…she expects too much and now look at wot she gets….please lah dun pressure your own daughter….let her choose her path…dun brag about wot happen…everything happens with a cause….

ndmmxiaomayi SG

The reality is, land on Earth is limited, uni can only be this big, and can only accept a certain number of people.

With or without superstition, this will happen anyway.

Deino SG

wot?
i didn't say the world is perfect...i just said dun blame people for your own failure...the auntie just too much of a parent...she expects too much from her children...people have limits too but you can improvise to break those limits...somebody go give the auntie a tight slap...i bet if her daughter have an average guy as her bf she will 100% chase him away wan

motoway SG

compare wad? it's not like her son get like CCE and got in.. the fact that her son gets better grades den her daughter means he is more eligible wad..

motoway SG

Isn't it about loyalty and kinship that citizens are given a chance to study there as long as they are eligible for entry

This sentence is pretty laughable.. Laughing

CSM SG

high post OL also can have poor background leh.

motoway SG

E is a fail right? Two A' level pass still can get in?

LazerLordz SG

E isn't a fail. Just borderline, if I remember correctly.

" Applicants (regardless of nationality) who are applying with the Singapore Cambridge GCE 'A' Level qualification must meet the following minimum requirements to apply for admission :

1. Pass in at least two subjects at 'A' Level and offered General Paper (GP) at one sitting.
"

I think with these grades, getting into engineering school shouldn’t be a problem. She must have opted for business, medicine and other courses where the competition are very fierce.
