Many many years back into the past, the
people who arrived at the place of what we now call, Hungary...
they were the Magyans They speak Magyan and their kingdom was
called Magya (pronounced
as Maw-dee-yar). That's the old name for Hungary. The people were
also known as Hungarians only when the Austrians joined forces with
the Magyans and formed the Habsburg Dynasty, later known as
Austria-Hungary during World War I.
