Don't you know the govt controls every god damn stuff in
Singapore? Remember our govt saying they wanna privatise a lot of
business? YES, it's privatised..but SO WHAT? They ask their Temasek
Holdings (Govt's stock investing company) to buy shares in these
major privatised companies..and they not only purchase like, for
example, 20% of the total share..they, instead, buy enough share to
control the company..eg. 51% of total shares..so on the surface
they look private, but they are actually controlled by Temasek
Holdings which in turn means they are controlled by the govt..
