Gatsby Moving Rubber

does anyone know wat to do if the moving rubber is harden???i accidentally left it open and now it really feel like rubber…

i bought it 3 months ago imported from japan one.

I bought the purple one. Standing power for that one is ok. Not very strong. If you one those that can make your hair stand, get a more powerful one i forgot which colour it is. i think red is thr strongest

i dun wan use anitin other than gatsby -- gel make my hair itchy

actually, the gatsby wax(not the new moving rubber kind shown here) are all super-tough to wash off. must out tons of shampoo and lots of hard scrubbing before the hair can become normal. the feeling also very tacky, so i'm considering to switch to moving rubber if it's ok.

anyway, what kind of spiky hair you want? out-of-bed hairstyle is it?
just use any gatsby wax, put a lot(be daring) and after that, spray the hairspray lah.
sure can spike one. gatsby got one hairspray is called "Hard set", will make the spikes stay, no problem.
for maximum spikiness, try their ultra-hard clay (black one).

but after you use the purple one on your hair, after a while........does it become very "hard-looking"? like if the wind blow, the hair doesn't move at all and is 100% stiff?

eh? if wind blows and it moves, then after a while, it will be out of shape (or all go down) liao....

since the brochure says that the hair waxed with moving rubber can be re-styled even after many hours, then it means the overall-look of the hair is somewhat soft is it? thanks all.

yeah lah.....it's a way of making more money, but then, hair spray has always been water-based, so cannot during the packaging process, obviously cannot mix with the clay mah....not just gatsby, but all hairsprays need to be used on clay/wax/gel.

anyway, when you style your hair, make sure it's very dry and not too much water in it, otherwise, the clay will get very diluted.

rubbish lah.....dandruff is caused by the genes in the hair. i always put lots of wax on my dry hair the whole day still no problem.
when you use the hairdryer to dry your hair, use your other hand to ruffle all your hair up. this way, when you spike the hair, they'll "stand up" a lot more.

yea it is soft. If you want hard, definitely go for clay or gel. NO WAX, plus, the one that i have, the purple one, is already considered 'string', in fact, it is the second strongest in the moving rubber series. Strongest is red one.

i just tried the mat one.
its definitely better than wax series.
though the texture of the moving rubber was somewhat soft like wax when i applied it

actually your hair is dead.
the only living part of one's hair is its root.
anything above it is considered dead.
yes can get dandruff and spoil hair if you use drier often.
i do the same but i put the drier at a safe distance say and arms' length away from my hair at least.

just got the red one today. actually, i don't care whether the result is hard or soft lah. i just want the shape to stay. so far, has your purple rubber live up to it's name anot?
or the shape you style goes back to square one after a while?

i using it now but all dis while my hair will go sleep mode 30 min after i use clay

maybe you didn't put enough clay? clay is the most hardcore-hardest of all the hair-styling products. you got try the Gatsby Ultra-Hard Clay anot? it's in an octagon shape, black flat container. only thing is that it's very very hard to wash off. for every one time you apply, you need 3 shower sessions to really make the hair go back to natural again.

also, what hairstyle you've? if too long, obviously even the best clay in the world cannot help you achieve your desired style. must be short and thin-layered; ask the barber/salon auntie to cut thinner for you (cutting the hair thinner is not the same as cutting shorter).
purpose of cutting the hair thinner is to reduce the density of the hair so that it's easier for clay to hold the stuff up.

Simple.

your hair is too thick, too style
and if your is those korean japan style, much more harder to do without
alot of wax, spray etc.
