Ponders SG Depends on the wording of the Insurance. Usually they will have clause saying "Authorised Driver" or "Named Driver" if you are a Named Driver, then you are covered. If you are Authorised driver at the time you are driving, that means you are covered. If you drive his car without authorisation, you are personally liable.
