kengkia SG maybe lau lee thinks that richard yong is now a 'liability' to him where the situation has got out of hand...so he conviniently got the aurthorities to issue an arrest warrant.. .....anyway even if they wanna squeeze out every single penny from richard i think it's no longer feasible now...cos he would have already park his money in a very 'safe' country .....dun take my words..but then he took pains to amass a fountune illegally do u think he want to go back to square....no rite..
BusSpeeder SG remember, if they implement a mareva injunction, richard yong can't even touch his assets. government got tactics. mareva injunction only allows, i think, the government to check, then give to the rightful owners or take the money for themselves.
kengkia SG dun nid to say....it's the latter...got so nice give $$$ to pple one mah...even they got give(GST $$)..it's just peanuts.... ....maybe richard yong is not that clever after all....he should have studied the Mareva injunction more and plan the route to take right away after Durai's fiasco...
RonDaGuy SG He went to malaysia lah.... then took plane from there... geez you guys don't read newspaper do you?
noahnoah SG Not really heaven have eyes wat He enjoy a life of riches in this world till old life so even if he kena sentence to jail wats is there to compare to those who are poor and who suffer everday without proper meals who are honest and good man?>
No9 SG I hope u r wrong.. he already made plans to flee Singapore. He got the intention. I think he deserves a heavy sentence.
Gary84 SG That muther farker should die a horrible death… cheat the poor’s medical fees and ordinary pple’s hard earn cash… Hope he get strike by lightning… Son and daughter better dun acknowledge himor else oso kana kidney problems, grandchildren born wif kidney problems if they called him grandpa… BUSTARD
photo_seeker SG He was immediately recognised in HK Malls. He seems to be more of holidaying than fleeing. That boils my blood!
dakkon_blackblade SG I’m surprised that he could actually have a choice to refuse extradition. Criminals should not be allowed such rights.
CoolMyth SG Just read in TNP(or was it ST) the wife would be charged with money laundering and stuff. Can be jailed up to 14 years and a heavy fine. Yong leh? If he comes back to Singapore and received punishment, at most 2 years jail. Since he is so "well-known", maybe he'll just end up with a fine in the end. Of course he must come back to Singapore lah!
