hmm. firstly stupid flyovers on the PIE and CTE and other expressways shouldn't be so steep. for pie is especially paya lebar flyover and eunos flyover. every morning jam until the flyover after the peak of the stupid flyover the cars cruise down effortlessly. but jam before the peak due to pple lazy to accelerate or dowan to haf high rpm or simply no power to go up the slope. shld haf made the expressway FLAT and the non-expressway road UNDERpass.

also our expressway winds left and right too much. -_- like the western part of PIE from BKE exit/entrance to clementi.

then they should enforce a minimum speed limit like some other countries. minimum 60kmh max 90kmh. and heavy vehicles should be taught to keep left more. oh well. sianz. juz some of my views.

i find the erp scheme very retarded…. it is to keep traffic away from a certain area during peak hour like in the morning going to work…. its not as if we want to go past the erp at the same time of day its because we have to. that dosent actually reduce the traffic flow does it…

i seriously tink limitin the number of cars or vehicles a household can own is a gd idea....nwadays when cars r cheap n the rich families r buyin so many even when its nt really necessary....

n i find dat nwadays heavy vehicles r comin to the 2 extreme rite lanes. dats slows dwn the whole traffic of normal cars, irritatin...

Have you seen Shanghai’s roads? Some of the high ways are double, triple and quadriple layered. Just like Keppel flyover and the new flyover over the roads at world trade centre. Shanghai even has elevated round abouts. The bridges in some US states are also double layered, like bay bridge and golden gate. Perhaps that may be the way to go. Double layer our highways. That will make it at least 6 lanes each way.
