Robin.G SG I juz want to affirm that the defence played well in the game. You guys are doing a wonderful job. The goal they scored was purely one of those.....what I call...... "Ping-ball type" . It all happened quite fast. If you ask me, I would say it's one of a freak chance that they got. Charles, dun paiseh lahhh, shout at the other defender if you have to. Can see that both you and Jem are "geling" better and better. Keep up the great stuff. In the meantime, remember it's MASSAGE time. By the way, thanx for getting Derrick. I think he is a great "asset " to the team. I'm certain that the Shadow Master agrees with me. Can somebody tell me where the hell is [email protected]# Oooppss ......I forgot....he is "busy".....hehehe
Max_Velocity78 SG Hi all, its Ian here. this is my first posting. I really proud to be playing for this team and is really sorry for the last min thingie in the tanglin field match. The last match was the best i have seen the team play, but i do feel the team has much more to offer with the given potential and depth. I was pretty disappted wif my own performance after not having touch the ball for more than 3 weeks. Thanks to Jeremy and Charles for their contribution in providing the defensive cover. They have inpired a strive to improve for the next match. Cheers !
kai28 SG dun worry ian, you had quite a good game... like i said the whole team played well including those who came in the 2nd half.. which kind of worries me..looks like i'll have a hard time trying to get back a place in the starting line-up..
Robin.G SG Brothers, dun you worry about being in the starting line-up. As long as the management of this team is concern, I promise all of you to have a fair share of the game no matter how good you are. When you dun start this week, you will start in the following week. The subs will come into the game in good time to make sure we have some "fresh" players to boost up the team. There is a place for everybody. We love the game and I dare say that we are all equally committed to have started this all the way from the basketball court. Ian, good to see ya in here.
hav0line SG YES YES YES.....I finally am able to log into gutter talk from my home comp....wat an idiot i have been....sigh Firstly, thank you Khai for yr compliment......but it was all thanks to our manager's magical boots that i borrowed Just a few words to say abt our last match....good to have Colin around coz i dun have to take anymore goalkicks I personally am extremely delighted with the progress of our team,i feel that we are moulding towards a brighter future.Robin has mentioned most of the stuff i wanted to say....dun worry boss...i promise that the defence will buck up on our communication as we get to know each other better. With Charles back as last man,the defence has been strengthened to say the least and i feel more comfortable which means less pressure. Our midfield played much better, stringing nice passes here and there, trying to supply the strikers with those needed thru balls.Although there were occasional
hav0line SG instances where the ball was lost, the players still chased and challenged relentless to regain possesion. One of who i really want to point out is Robin who often came back to defence to help out.The midfield hence became more compact but players must try their best not to stray out of position.Another thing i noticed was that we actually challenge for the header from goalkicks which was evidently missing in previous matches. Our strikers did well, waiting patiently for those thru passes and made some well timed runs but were caught by the dreaded offside traps. But as long as we keep the passes going, the goals will definitely be coming. A well scored goal by Russ and a freak equaliser said it all..the game should have been ours. But its ok,i forsee better results and performance from this team made up of committed and aspiring players. Thats all for now!!!
