well......you are lucky you have just caught the smell of
someone farting....anyway it's just a transient smell, it will go
away in less than a minute or so.
But have you ever had the chance of having a foreign national [of
the dark kind] sittin right next to you for the rest of your MRT
journey?? The type who releases a very strong BO that eventually
clings to every part of your body, and after you alight at your
destination, ppl around you may think YOU have that BO?? 
If you haven't had the chance, boy you sure dun know what does the
word stink means.....
