Depends on how cheapo or lavish u are la, give or take.
Angbaos can probably claim around 5k - 15k. (More if you have grand scale)

Advice u to get more tables for cheaper rates, buy in bulk will get more discount. More people = More angbaos, Ppl dont go to wedding to eat the mediocre food anyway.

If possible, have buffet dinner a few days before for all ur acquiantances and super distant relatives, give them a chance to give u money. Very Happy

Becareful of spending too much on the wedding. Its a real world out there.

Wedding is only a small part to Family Union. There is a whole lot of other stuff for 2 person to come together. Grand wedding is of course welcome, but should not become a stress to the couple. I have seen just too many couple split after 1~3 years into their marriage. Major all releated to $ issues.

Do you want to save for 5 years & split after 1~3 years? Re-consider if you are stressed to save up for that grand wedding!

Just a little information, myself spend ~22k for the wedding. Hong Bao cover most of the Wedding banquet. Highly depends on your guest. I even receive 1 stupid Hong Bao of $8. Belive it or not, you can forget this type of friend. Also receive 2x $1000 Hong Bao. I recommend you have relatives open the Hong Bao on the spot while to register the guest names & amount collected. Be it $8 or $800.

mmm..not really impt to me..cos is only a symbol,my brother dosent wear his wedding ring after he put on weight.. Laughing girls after give birth also usually cannot wear..i rather save the money & buy anniversary rings every yr..haha
