airgrinder SG

Any have a light 14lb or heavy 13lb polyster ball for sale? 2nd hand of course. Can drop me a mail: [email protected]

Thanx & regards Cool

bara_cuda SG

I don't think we have any heavy polyster balls to spare but we do have a couple of nine pounders which you may want to use as paper weights?

airgrinder SG

funny you should say that. Had a friend who saw a unwanted 13 pounder into half to use it as a door stopper! Shocked

Shadow_R SG

I'm not sure if I'm more impressed with the fact that your friend used a bowling ball as a door stopper (some door!), or that he actually bothered to saw the bowl! Confused

MadGoat SG

Shocked Hello, any idea which is a good place to buy a new bowling ball? Laughing

bara_cuda SG

Just don't go to marina square. I have only tried jackies so can't really recommend

Shadow_R SG

I agree with bara_cuda... just don't go marina square...

yuppiez SG

how much is the market price for standard bowling ball set

MadGoat SG

Okay, so shadow, you have any good place in mind? Where do you guys usually bowl? I am mostly found at Sultan Bowl area…Now thinking of buying my own ball…gaf my old one away…

Shadow_R SG

We are at Jackies Bowl (Katong) every Sunday afternoon. I myself have only gotten balls from Marina Square (I can't stress enough how bad a move that was) and Victor's Bowl (which was definitely better), but I'll most probably get my next ball from Jackies Bowl...

bara_cuda SG

Bowling balls are just like clothes, they come in different materials and brands. It would be better if you can pay a visit to one of the pro shop and talk to them. They will be able to advise you. Victor's bowl will be a good choice as they are very friendly.

MadGoat SG

Oh, thanx guys, I guess I will still have to bum ard to look for a good shop. And futhermore I begining to change my bowling style. Maybe going for the 'spin' haha...guess it takes sometimes....Thanx again. Hope to see you guys someday in a match. Maybe one of the days when Marina South has got competition we might meet there..

Cheers Cool

Shadow_R SG

No problem... we'll see you around... Smile
