Unless the max force is the initial driving force, in which case, u can switch the variable F1 in my working to the max driving force.

Btw, do u hv any answer for this question?

My working doesn't seem to be for normal JC physics, only physics S. Unless I am already outdated...

U sure no prob in ur question a not? i seriously confused by this qn of urs. first is the mass 1.2 x 104 or 1.2 x 10^4? then the engine throttle back or the engineer? Then got 2 cars but then u only say car A then where is the other car? how are they linked?
