Xcert SG tot there was a TNP report on this kind of problem some time back?that the currrent driving classes not sufficient to accomodate the larger car capacities in terms of weight? I think should be OK lar...they will open 1 eye close 1 eye....if not people would have problems on the road already lor...
Praetorian111 SG If you will to see more people owning such cars probably LTA will start to revised the rule. I remember that they are considering moving cars more than 3 tons into the class 3 so that drivers need not take the license for class 4 which is mostly meant for commerical vehicles

Trailer with container - Class 5 with PSA lic Trailer without container - Class 4 Crane lorry - Class 5 with crane lic Class 4 lorry (Small wheels) - 6 tons Class 4 lorry (Big wheels) - 10 tons Class 5 lorry - 16tons To know which is class 4 lorry or class 5 lorry ... just see how many axles the vehicle have ... To know if the vehicle is overloaded ... ermmm u ppl should know haha ...
