t3r SG hi harry..frankly i dont quite fancy merc... but being owner of merc and beemer..i can tell you that merc is much easier to mod if i were to own an SL... i will get: 1.bodykit (kleeman,brabus,carlsson) 2.muffler (eisenmann) 3.ECU chip 4.rims (AMG,Brabus,HRE,iforged) 5.LSD doors supercharge if u want... anyway..if u want AMG bodykit.. PM SEI...he can get u cheap
ceecookie SG S350 right? heard the S63 AMG might be coming to sg...should wait to own the supercar eh why? heavy weight? And in regards to harry's SL500, i wonder why it cant be on par wif the Evo?5 litres leh
harry1 SG Guys thanks for all your inputs - I will post up some pics after putting on the AMG kit then. The SL pick up is very slow 0-60 @ 6.1 sec. Also the 5 spd gearbox is a pain to shift down in when going into turns. It does not want to catch the right gear so sometimes you overshoot and the braks are very mushy. The suspension set up is also too soft. Need to go for SL55 but $$$$!!! No way it can get close to an EVO when the boost kicks in. The turbo boost is something i really miss! Actually SEI, one interesting car that I may get instead of CLS or S350 is a 1 year old Maserati QP which is asking for about S$300k (which seems like good value). Have you driven it? I am seriously considering this as an option. I dont think I will modify the SL much except for the AMG kit as I already have the AMG 19" rims as I previously modded my GTR and lost some much value from modifying it with Garage R as the engine "blew" due to the FCON VPRO.
SEI SG ooh.... screw the s-class get the Quartaporte @Cookie no i did not get the 350 EDIT: actually the thing u have to consider is what purpose u will use this car for.... s-class and qp is different qp can be quite jerky at first

Hope u're enjoying your M3 - u should go and see Amos @ Juzz 4 Car to upgrade the ECU, remove the delimiter and add a carbon inflow box which will produce the same induction whine as the CSL.
TwinTurbo_Supra SG 1: it is fugly. 2: faster 4 seater alternative, CLK 55. 3: it weighs like a bus 4: it is fugly.
ceecookie SG actually u should compare CLK500 to the CL500...anyway since u suggest the AMG version then what abt the CL65? does it weight like a bus too
