yah
we wanted to publish a magazine 100 pgs, 2500 copies
last yr they paid $13,000 only 6 pgs of 4C
this yr we found a freelancer, she quoted us only $9000 and 44pgs 4C!!!!!!

so we know last year that company charged how much on designing alone...

kan qi lai freelance also not so hoh tan... must slash price so much...

MooKu SG

MooKu SG

Nope. The one that says "Toast to a Scrumptious Spread @ Parkway Parade" and has this ugly octopus. Razz

Hmmm not really strange shapes and sizes... just different patterns, and yeah some are longer than your usual mug, some are more like bowls with handles.. Razz

Mmmm just keep an umbrella in the office lar. It'll come in handy! Very Happy

TehJarVu SG

basically i waited for my colleague for half an hour when he told me he'd be ready in 10 minutes...

then not enough....... walk half way he wanted to go toilet Evil or Very Mad

ding ding dong dong until 9:15 then i reached home

Båseline SG

6pp/4C sounds more like a newsletter to me than a magazine. Razz Design work does look on the high end with that sort of specifications. On a postive note.... if the design company is reputable and has excellent portfolio of work. It's worth the dough as quoted. It is quite essential to have a good designed mag/newsletter as it is also a window for other ppl to look into.

TehJarVu SG

oh yah bassie bassie
wanna aks u abt macbook

can the xp in macbook install chinese like PC computers?
ie. go to control panel, regional and language option etc etc to add Chinese PRC... then can type chinese oredi.... macbook also can or not?

alleggerita SG

The XP in a Macbook can do anything that a XP in PC can do.. Mr. Green

Båseline SG

I reckoned their backend not strong enuff to handle many requests at ard the same time.... try later ba.

*washes the whines away*

TehJarVu SG

i mean out of 100 pgs, 6pp 4C, the rest 2C
this yr out of 100pgs, 44pp 4C, the rest 2C

the freelancer's design maybe not as good as last yr
but the colour pages will make up for it.....

with full colour, the mag will become so much more livelier and nicer...

alleggerita SG

Mookie from which school Question

Båseline SG
